So, my hopes are officially up…
With the symptoms I’ve had, I’ve kept kinda… well, pessimistic. I kept telling myself ‘Surely this is just in your head. Or side-effects from the clomid.’
But, uh.
<TMI WARNING>TodayINoticedWhiteSecretions</TMI WARNING>
That can’t be faked by my crazy or clomid.
So I texted midwife-friend, “So, uh, I think the clomid worked.”
And I told her my symptoms: the extra-tiredness, nipple soreness, food aversions/desires (no specific foods, just general stuff), and the new thing today.
Her response was: “I am SURE you had a glow. I didn’t want to press the point until you were ready, but you have it.”
And apparently, my husband told her he had noticed it also.
I admitted I totally thought it was the heat: around the same time the temps went up over 100’F, I started feeling really warm all the time and my skin (esp. on my face) went from dry to oily. She insisted it’s a kind of change that can only be internal.
And, I guess, if anyone is going to know “The Glow,” it’s a midwife.
So… if I can convince the hubby, I’m gonna test on Monday. Otherwise, next Friday or Saturday.
